Educational Tour 2019  (to be finalised by  end September 2018)

Barcelona is a leading tourist, economic, trade and cultural sports centre that has influence in commerce, education, media, fashion and the arts.

A major global cultural and economic hub, Barcelona has one of the principal ports of Europe and an airport that has over 35 million passengers per year, making Barcelona Europe’s fourth most visited city.

With its highly specialised, industrial-based economy, a trip to Barcelona is a must for any Business Studies student. They’ll be able to study the production and distribution processes of the city’s primary exports – textile, automotive, food and wine.

With production, finance and marketing being at the heart of any good business model, Barcelona and its surrounding areas can provide a wide variety of business case studies to support students in these key curriculum areas. Combine this with the wealth of famous landmarks and attractions and students will be able to see first-hand how tourism contributes to Spain’s economy.
